On a bright and sunny day, the big dog Spike and his adorable son Tyke are napping in their respective beds. Little Tyke has a nightmare, whimpering with his eyes closed. Spike gently picks up his son, comforting the frightened little one, and gives him a sip of milk before they both go back to sleep. Just then, the eternal rivals Tom and Jerry launch into another intense and noisy chase. Jerry, in a panic, hides on Tyke’s body. Tom, blinded by rage, recklessly picks up Tyke and searches everywhere. His rude behavior naturally angers Spike, who gives him a good lesson. However, Tom doesn’t give up.
