The "Third Animation Support Program" held its launch ceremony today at the Productivity Building, where the list of 15 selected start-ups and small animation enterprises participating in the support program was announced. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Chu Choi Ming Fung, Assistant Head of Create Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government; Mr. Pang Chi Kit, President of the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association; and Mr. Lo Siu Chung, Vice President (Corporate Management) of the Hong Kong Productivity Council. Now in its third year, the "Animation Support Program" is organized by the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association, sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and executed by the Hong Kong Productivity Council. It aims to nurture local emerging and small animation enterprises to produce more original animations, thereby promoting the development of the local animation industry.
