In a surreal space, five men with nearly identical appearances stand back-to-back in a circle. They glance around, expressionless yet seemingly lost in thought. When one of them takes a step outward, the ground beneath them tilts. It turns out that these five men are standing at the very center of a square board supported by only a single point below—the slightest movement disrupts the balance. With unspoken默契, they walk toward the four directions, striving to maintain equilibrium, and then each pulls out a fishing rod to cast their lines. One of them hooks a wooden box, and as he tries to uncover its secrets, the other four grow curious as well, attempting to slide the box toward themselves by disrupting the balance. That box, like an alluring Pandora's box, controls the emotions of those around it... This film won the Best Animated Short Film award at the 1990 Oscars and the Silver Award for Best Short Film at the 1989 German Film Festival.
