The protagonist of this work is a young boy suffering from rhinitis. Yearning for the flowers and cats outside, he follows his imagination and transforms into a tiny person walking among giant bean sprouts inside a pod. He recalls the times when rhinitis troubled him, and thinks of a friend who is both similar and different from himself. Like the protagonist, this friend possesses unique traits due to genetic combinations, but in the end, both learn to accept their distinctive selves, living fulfilling and joyful childhoods.
