In ancient times, devastating floods ravaged the land, bringing immense suffering to the people. Emperor Shun, seeking to save the common folk, searched far and wide for someone capable of taming the waters. Yu courageously shouldered the monumental task of flood control and embarked on a long and arduous journey. During his efforts, Yu passed by his own home three times without entering, so dedicated was he to his mission. Ultimately, the river channels were dredged and the floods were effectively controlled, allowing the land to be restored to life.
