The film is based on an old story personally recounted by the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung. The film depicts a tale in which all the animals diligently help their master's household with work, while only the lazy pig, Kkulkkuli, loafs around and ends up becoming a useless animal, ultimately finding its way onto the feast table of the master's house.
