Anime Title: "The Crimson Path" Known for directing NHK Puchi Puchi Anime "Mori no Ratio" and Mr.Children's "HERO" music video, filmmaker Tomoyasu Murata created this short puppet animation in 2002. It was screened as part of "Tomoyasu Murata Special: Dream Memory Device" (March 17, 2018 onwards / Theater Image Forum), a collection of seven representative short films from Murata's body of work. On a train running through a dark, long tunnel, a man carrying sorrow encounters a girl offering a crimson flower... This is the first installment of the "Path" series, depicting the journey of a grieving pianist who has lost his daughter.
