This is an animation adaptation of Kenji Miyazawa's folktale-style original work. In this piece, Kenji Miyazawa beautifully depicts the hardships of early pioneering farmers and their reverence for nature through seasonal labor and landscapes, set in the actual forests at the foot of Mount Iwate. This excellent work conveys the gentle and abundant heart of Kenji, who lived in harmony with nature, and his deep respect for the natural world.
