In the late Warring States period, the young Han Su enters the Ghost Valley to study the art of vertical and horizontal alliances. He clashes in ideology with his senior disciple Wei Ji—one advocates for alliances and peace, while the other champions forceful conquest. After leaving the mountain, each pursues his own ambitions, leading to numerous confrontations. In the end, Han Su uses his wisdom to halt the war and retreats into seclusion, while Wei Ji continues his path of reform. The game remains unfinished, and the two part ways.
