Xu Fu, under the command of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, leads thousands of children and hundreds of artisans on an eastward voyage. The young boy Dongchuan and the girl Qiuli endure countless hardships and come together, helping Xu Fu brave fierce storms, treacherous reefs, and perilous waters. They overcome treacherous schemes, vicious pirates, and sea monsters, eventually reaching the vast plains and wide marshes. There, they carry the torch of Chinese civilization to the world.
