In the ancient grasslands, the Black Iron Tribe attacks the Azure Sky Tribe. The Azure Sky Tribe's young princess, Wulan, is rescued by a she-wolf and brought back to the wolf pack. Wulan grows into a wolf-girl, but the she-wolf dies in battle. Wulan returns to the Azure Sky Tribe with the she-wolf's son, the white wolf, reuniting with her elder sister, Tana. When the Black Iron Tribe attacks again, the white wolf is captured. In the midst of crisis, Wulan leads the Azure Sky Tribe and the wolf pack to defeat the powerful enemy, saving the grasslands.
