The first TV anime program by Toei Doga (now Toei Animation), a wildly popular jungle adventure romance. This is the fifth installment of its theatrical version. Ken is a boy who lives with wolves. Among his wolf companions is Black, a cheerful and good-natured fellow, though a bit of a show-off. This Black has fallen in love. The object of his affection is a female wolf named Scarlet, who is a member of a wandering wolf clan. However, the villains Gorilla and Wildcat, having taken notice of this fact, hatch a scheme to pit Ken and Black's clan against Scarlet's clan. 　A blow-up version of TV series episode 16, "The Incident on a Moonlit Night." Until now, the theatrical works of 'Ken' had been edited compilations of two episodes from the TV series, but this marks the first exception. This work was released as a double feature with the live-action film 'A Stone by the Wayside.'
