A re-edited version of the TV anime "Aikatsu!". This re-edits the "Unit Cup Arc" from the third season of the TV series, which aired from 2014 to 2015, depicting girls striving in idol activities (= Aikatsu!) to become top idols. 　It is announced that a "Unit Cup" will be held at Starlight Academy Middle School. Eight units, determined to participate in the Unit Cup, are full of motivation. This event also features a special segment where idols report on each other's behind-the-scenes true selves. The Unit Cup begins, with the idols clashing more passionately than ever. 　The bonus video "Aikatsu Restaurant," featuring the protagonist Oozora Akari and other characters gathering to liven up a play-within-a-play, is also screened simultaneously.
