Synopsis: A girl who was dragged into a witch trial and destined to be burned at the stake fled into the forest, only to accidentally awaken a sealed Headless Knight and escape with her life. The Headless Knight seeks to reach the royal capital to assassinate the White King, while the homeless girl witnesses the suffering of the common people at the bottom of society. However, all conflicts are shifted by the Church onto so-called witches—those who openly oppose the system are either brainwashed with tools or forced to "commit suicide" at the slightest provocation. Unable to stand by and watch any longer, she joins the knight on a journey to assassinate the White King.
