Produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio. This series is a companion piece to the large-scale animated series "Young Heroes Throughout History." Drawing from the moral education curriculum content of the nine-year compulsory education system for primary and secondary schools, as well as relevant historical records, it selects 100 popular ancient and modern short stories on virtue. These stories are categorized into themes such as honoring parents, respecting teachers, unity and friendship, setting aspirations and diligent study, humility and politeness, honesty and trustworthiness, serving as a vivid educational resource for promoting Chinese national culture, carrying forward traditional Chinese virtues, and supplementing classroom education. In response to General Secretary Jiang's call for "governing the country with virtue" and "making the past serve the present," we conceived the plan to produce a hundred-episode animated series based on traditional Chinese virtue stories, launching it as a companion piece to the large-scale series "Young Heroes Throughout History." Drawing from the moral education curriculum of the nine-year compulsory education system for primary and secondary schools and relevant historical records, we selected 100 popular ancient and modern short stories on virtue. These stories are categorized and produced according to themes such as honoring parents, respecting teachers, unity and friendship, setting aspirations and diligent study, humility and politeness, and honesty and trustworthiness. They include well-known tales such as "Goujian Enduring Hardships to Strengthen His Resolve," "Fan Zhongyan's Loyalty to Duty," "Mao Sui Recommending Himself," and "Ban Chao Abandoning the Pen for the Sword." The aim is to use animation—an art form beloved by children and adolescents—to complement school education, promote national culture, and popularize traditional morality.
