"Messenger of Peace: The Story of the Blue-Eyed Doll" In 1927 (Showa 2), blue-eyed dolls were sent from America to many schools and kindergartens in Japan as symbols of friendship. However, as the war intensified, many of these dolls met tragic fates—destroyed or burned as dolls of an enemy nation. Amidst this turmoil, Chinatsu and Kōta strive to rescue the dolls.
