"Changjiang Chronicles: The Cry of the Nine Phoenixes" is an animated series from the Changjiang Story collection, produced by Zhongying Times under the Wuhan Cultural Investment Group and created by Wuhan Boruntong Culture Technology Co., Ltd. The project draws from legendary tales of the Yangtze River basin, presented in ink-wash painting style, incorporating historical legends such as the Yellow Crane and the Nine Phoenixes (nine-headed bird), landmark structures like the Yellow Crane Tower, and cultural luminaries. It offers a fresh perspective on interpreting China's outstanding traditional culture, revolutionary culture, and Jing-Chu culture. Through animation, it disseminates the spiritual essence of Yangtze River culture, continues the historical and cultural lineage, and strengthens cultural confidence. Against the backdrop of the nation's vigorous promotion of the Yangtze River Economic Belt development, it champions the preservation and inheritance of Yangtze River cultural heritage. The project has been selected for the National Radio and Television Administration's "Classic Folk Tale Animation Creation Project" and has received awards including the 2021 Golden Panda Tianfu Creative Design Award's "Excellence Award in Digital Creative Design (Concept Category)."
