The story unfolds in a desolate desert, within a military restricted zone inhabited by a vast number of alien creatures (referred to as "Big A" in the series). These creatures were initially captured by humans for biochemical experiments and later confined within the restricted area. Humans promised the Big A that they would one day return to their homeland. After being sent to the decontamination zone, a Big A numbered 93 secretly discovers that this is not a so-called decontamination treatment but rather a batch-by-batch genocide. In a moment of desperation, it uses its wits to escape back to Zone A, attempting to reveal the truth to the remaining Big A, only to face skepticism and distrust from its own kind. One day, a priest secretly infiltrates the restricted zone, recording everything inside with his handheld DV camera. He learns of humanity's conspiracy and plans from Number 93, but it is ultimately too late to save the remaining Big A. As a devout believer, the priest is overwhelmed with guilt over the slaughter of living beings, while also bound by the duty and responsibility of a soldier to fulfill his mission at all costs.
