The film is set in the late Ming Dynasty. Princess Changping is married to Zhou Shixian, the son of the Grand Coachman. However, due to a major upheaval in the palace, she is wounded by her own father. Later, she is hidden in the home of Zhou Zhong. Zhou Shixian remains devoted, searching everywhere for the princess.
