Summer has once again arrived in Beijing. In the hutong before the White Pagoda, children gather to watch the old popcorn vendor create a loud bang, the air filled with an enticing aroma. A teenage boy buys his favorite magazine from a newsstand, sipping soda as he pedals his bicycle home. The walls of his room are plastered with posters of popular Japanese manga like "YuYu Hakusho" and "Dragon Ball." On his desk, various figurines of cartoon characters are displayed. Wearing a tank top, the boy diligently sketches an image of the girl he admires in his class. In his dreams, he and the girl wander through the void together, embracing and kissing in a beautiful, fantastical scene. The next day, sunlight streams into his small room, leaving him with nothing but endless sighs. During class, he secretly draws the girl and is caught by the teacher. His confiscated notebook, thrown into the wastebasket, unexpectedly ends up in the girl's hands. With his feelings exposed, this awkward, youthful affection has nowhere to hide... This film won the "Special Jury Award" at the Beijing Film Academy's "10th Animation Academy Awards" and the "Water City Animation Award."
