Loosely based on the films "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns," the O'Connells find themselves pursued across the globe by the undead and corrupt High Priest, Imhotep, and his lackey, Colin Weasler, all while racing to remove the Manacle of Osiris from Alex's wrist. Their quest takes them around the world in search of the lost Scrolls of Thebes, the only artifacts capable of removing the manacle. These scrolls must ultimately be destroyed to prevent Imhotep from seizing the manacle for himself. In the second season, Alex undergoes training as a Medjai warrior to battle the mummy, confronting new threats throughout his journey.
