In a faraway place, there lies a mysterious island called Sausage Island. On Sausage Island, there is a dense, vast forest known as Shuanghui Great Forest. Deep within Shuanghui Great Forest lives a family of culinary masters, led by a kind and wise old grandfather who can make all kinds of delicious sausages. Everyone calls him Sausage Grandpa. Sausage Grandpa’s home is a large wooden house with a yard enclosed by a wooden fence, guarded by a mighty lion named Wang Zhong Wang, who ensures the safety of the household. Inside the wooden house live Grandpa’s eight-year-old granddaughter Shuangshuang and six-year-old grandson Huihui, along with nine sausage cartoon characters named: Zhuangzhuang, Koukou, Dandan, Tiantian, Brother Grilled Sausage, Xiangxiang, Lala, Paopao, and Little Corn. Across the sea from Sausage Island lies another island called Black Wind Island, home to a sinister dark forest where an ambitious Dark Forest Witch resides. The Dark Forest Witch has a minion named Kuangkuang, who follows her everywhere. Kuangkuang often carries a small, worn-out gong, using it to command the forest creatures and force them to offer their most delicious food to the Dark Forest Witch. Whenever the creatures hear the "clang-clang" of the gong, they know the Dark Forest Witch is up to no good again. The Dark Forest Witch is desperate to obtain the secret recipe for making sausages from Sausage Grandpa. Her plan is to create delicious sausages, secretly lace them with poison, and attempt to control humanity on Earth. Sausage Grandpa sees through her scheme and refuses to hand over the recipe. Furious, the Dark Forest Witch repeatedly sneaks onto Sausage Island, attempting to kidnap Shuangshuang and Huihui and hold them hostage in the dark forest to force Sausage Grandpa to reveal the sausage-making secret. Against this backdrop, a series of clashes between good and evil unfolds. In each confrontation, the siblings Shuangshuang and Huihui outwit the Dark Forest Witch, narrowly escaping danger every time. With the help of Grandpa, the lion Wang Zhong Wang, and the nine sausage characters, they manage to defeat the Dark Forest Witch again and again…
