Every few years, an immensely powerful Demon King attacks the Nanlu tribe. This year, Habu, the chief of the Nanlu tribe, stood alone against the great Demon King to protect his people, but was unfortunately captured. The new, formidable Demon King declared that he would devour Habu unless the Nanlu tribe offered a new young man in exchange. Beilu Ling (voiced by Ji Guanlin) used the magical power given to her by Grandma Tana to summon a boy from another world, intending to offer him as food to the great Demon King in order to retrieve her father. This legend of the great Demon King among the Nanlu tribe is, in fact, a trial that the next chief must undergo. Beilu Ling successfully completed the trial, becoming the tribe's new warrior and inheriting her father's responsibility to continue protecting the people. With the entire incident concluded, the Nanlu tribe returned to its former peace.
