Sharp (political) satire and critique of real life, along with a yearning for freedom and liberation coupled with intense skepticism, are the distinctive authorial will (full creative intent) of contemporary Estonian master of art animation, Priit Pärn. Just as he once looked down upon animation as an art form, believing it to be nothing more than following rules and operating within a predetermined framework (all confined within a box), when he entered the animation industry, he expanded the boundaries of Soviet-era animation with this powerful authorial will and innovative spirit. Beyond his wildly imaginative creativity, his works consistently feature strong realist critique and surreal black humor. This film appears to be a poem, using a poetic lens to criticize the Soviet massacre of Estonians and the eternal persecution of ordinary people under totalitarianism. Yes, the bullet to the back of the head is eternal, and historically, perhaps not so long ago, oppression and harm are even more everlasting. And upon noticing the lifelong bullet at the back of "my" head, one should also recall certain things from the past—those things that should not be diluted, or even forgotten...
