Leaving his hometown behind, Mike embarked on a wandering journey and eventually became a librarian at a library in a distant town. There, he met Jill, an aspiring singer who taught songs to children, and they were drawn to each other. Jill steadily progressed on her path to becoming a singer, and it was decided she would officially debut in the city. Jill told Mike she wanted to take him with her to live together.
