Due to the image of his ancestors throughout generations and his father's promiscuous behavior, university student Akagami Akira has long upheld a vow of celibacy. However, after a chance encounter with the girl Aoba Yuzuki, he falls in love with her at first sight. Tormented by restless thoughts, Akira decides to take a leave of absence from school and become a monk to rid himself of distractions. Unexpectedly, the temple he heads to turns out to be the very nunnery where Yuzuki resides.
