This film won the 1987 Oberhausen Grand Prize in Germany, the ANNECY Animation Award in France, and the Best Director Award at the Bulgarian Animation Exhibition. In a tall apartment building, the door is broken, and every household uses various hanging baskets to go up and down. One day, a newlywed couple is about to hold their wedding, but they cannot enter through the door, leading to an awkward situation. Finally, a child drips some lubricating oil onto the door's hinges, and the door opens smoothly. However, the residents in the building continue as before, going up and down in their hanging baskets. Such is this simple story, with all characters crafted from cloth puppets, appearing vivid and adorable. Yet clearly, the director is not confined to the film's formal perfection. Through this story, he portrays the numbness and mutual indifference of people in the mundane world, serving as a significant cautionary tale. Aimed at adult audiences.
