Hercules (1997) is Disney's 35th classic animated feature film. The DVD of this film has been released in Taiwan by Buena Vista, and the VCD was released in mainland China by China Record Dega. After the original soundtrack was initially released across both sides of the strait by Rock Records, EMI and Avex subsequently re-released it in mainland China and Taiwan respectively. The Hong Kong version was released on July 10, 1997, marking the first Disney film to premiere in Hong Kong after its handover, with Leo Ku and Karen Mok providing the voice acting.
