This film was nominated for the 1989 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. While the old man was playing the trombone alone in his room, a "knock, knock" sound came from the door. He initially wanted to ignore it, but unable to bear the increasingly deafening and infuriating knocking, he angrily opened the door, only to unexpectedly welcome an adorable kitten hidden in a cradle. The old man, holding a rattle, looked at the kitten with affection, hoping to bond with it. However, the kitten impatiently swatted the rattle to the ground. Unable to tolerate the kitten's violence, the old man grabbed it and threw it outside. But the kitten didn't leave; instead, it jumped back into the room and did something that made the old man even more frustrated. To prevent the kitten from returning, the old man tried many hilarious methods, yet the kitten clung to him like a nightmare.
