This film revolves around the theme of "mythology," drawing inspiration from legends of constellations and the Milky Way. It tells the story of a diligent and responsible celestial being tasked with "releasing stars" and his mischievous younger sister. The short film imaginatively intertwines weaving with the constellations and stars in the sky, innovating upon traditional mythological elements while preserving cultural heritage, aiming to present a mind-bending "new mythological tale." Utilizing a combination of 3D digital animation, 2D hand-drawn techniques, and real-time rendering technology, the film aspires to develop into a commercially valuable IP. "Fallen to Mortal Realm" is the 2020 graduation project from the Digital Entertainment and Derivative Studio of the School of Visual Art and Design at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
