Avex Technologies Inc. has premiered the original anime "She Sings, So I Am," produced entirely remotely as a proof-of-concept using the next-generation anime production tool "AniCast Maker," which enables anyone to create anime quickly and easily. Director Sakai will take the stage at the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference 2020 (CEDEC2020), held from September 2nd to 4th, to present the know-how gained from this production process. Please stay tuned. To address the cost issues in anime production, technology development companies have begun researching ways to simplify the production of in-between frames. Avex Technology, a subsidiary of the Avex Group Holdings, and VR development company XVI Inc. have jointly developed "AniCast Maker," a technology that utilizes VR drawing. This technology allows for real-time transformation of anime visuals using VR, eliminating the need for drawing skills and CG manipulation. A prime example of not requiring CG or drawing techniques is the virtual streamer "VTuber." With this new technology, anime production can save manpower and time, thereby improving production efficiency.
