Jiro falls ill, and his father anxiously takes him to see a doctor. Unexpectedly, after a thorough examination, it is discovered that he has contracted a cat flu—a condition exclusive to cats. Could it be that Jiro is actually a cat? This work is a cross-border collaboration between a German illustrator and a Japanese artist. Through a fantastical theme paired with an adorable artistic touch, it depicts the process of self-identity formation during childhood growth and highlights the importance of family support. With outstanding brushwork details and deeply heartwarming emotions, the film caught the attention of the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival team and was selected for the Generation section, recommended for children.
