The 147th theatrical short of "Tom and Jerry," also the 20th episode produced by Chuck Jones, with Abe Levitow officially taking over as director starting from this installment. In a mousehole on the dock, Jerry smells the aroma of cheese wafting from a cargo ship being unloaded while asleep. Lured by the scent, Jerry wakes up and attempts to sneak aboard to steal the cheese, only to find Tom the sailor patrolling the gangway ladder. He must then use every trick in the book to outwit Tom... The premise of this episode is reminiscent of the 71st episode, "Cruise Cat." The title is a pun on the English name of "Puss in Boots."
