Under the night sky at Swing Swing Prison, the once silent courtyard suddenly became incredibly noisy due to the escape of the prisoner, Big Bad Wolf. To capture this fugitive, the prison released dozens of hounds to pursue him. Bringing up the rear was the lazy Droopy, who seemed to move a beat slower than the entire world, ambling leisurely through the streets. Along the way, he passed a fire hydrant and relieved himself in full view of everyone, then exchanged information with the other dogs. At one point, Droopy came incredibly close to Big Bad Wolf's hiding spot, but the cunning fugitive still managed to slip away. Big Bad Wolf seized the chance to flee to an apartment building, only to find that Droopy had already arrived there ahead of him. No one could have imagined that Droopy, who had been moving so sluggishly just moments before, suddenly became as fast as a superhero.
