On a peaceful day, the lady of the house hums a tune while mopping the floor, cleaning the entire house until it is spotless. She takes great delight in admiring the fruits of her labor. However, this joy and satisfaction do not last long, as a commotion suddenly erupts outside the door—it turns out Tom and Jerry have once again launched their never-ending chase. During the pursuit, the two little troublemakers fall into a mud puddle, yet they continue their chase without a care. From outside to inside, the clean floor is soon covered in dirty footprints. Naturally, the lady of the house is furious. She orders Tom to mop the floor clean and insists that the house remain tidy while she goes out shopping. Tom nods repeatedly, promising to comply, while the little mouse seems to be hatching some mischievous plan. 　　As soon as the lady of the house steps out, Jerry begins wreaking havoc in the room—ash and blue ink are scattered everywhere.
