Adapted from the classical novel "Investiture of the Gods," it depicts the tyrannical and cruel reign of King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty, who is infatuated with Daji—a fox spirit in disguise—and brings harm to the innocent. Sent by his master, the Primordial Heavenly Lord, Jiang Ziya descends from the mountains to vanquish the demons, assisting King Wu of Zhou in overthrowing the Shang Dynasty. This film is performed by the Zhangzhou Puppet Troupe.
