In a starry, sparkling space, there is a little monster named Molly. She has a good friend named Edison, who is a wind-up toy. He loves playing with Molly, so when Molly shifts all her attention to something else, he begins to show strong dissatisfaction. Little Molly is knitting a red hat, intending to give it to her unborn brother. Soon, Molly's brother is born, but he is just a magic egg. The egg needs to be taken to Egg Island to hatch properly and bring the little monster into the world. Thus, the family begins preparing to set off on a journey to Magic Island.
