"Of Feline Bondage" is the 140th theatrical short of the "Tom and Jerry" series and the 13th episode produced by Chuck Jones. 　　After being teased by Tom on the mansion's billiard table, Jerry escapes back to his mouse hole. There, his fairy mouse godmother appears and gives him a bottle of invisibility potion... This episode shares similarities in plot with Episode 33, "The Invisible Mouse," and Episode 54, "Cue Ball Cat." The title alludes to Maugham's novel and its 1964 film adaptation, "Of Human Bondage."
