In a quiet and peaceful suburban area lies a private estate. Within the estate’s pond, many fish thrive, naturally attracting the attention of countless fishing enthusiasts. The owner, of course, does not allow people to fish freely—he has put up numerous warning signs and stationed the large dog Spike at the entrance to stand guard. However, the ever-cunning Tom takes advantage of Spike’s nap to sneak into the private estate. Along the way, he gets bitten by the dreaming Spike, but thanks to his quick wits, he manages to avoid being discovered by the big dog. Arriving at the lakeside, Tom opens his tackle box, revealing that the little mouse Jerry is actually one of his fishing baits. Though extremely reluctant, Jerry is thrown into the river by Tom and forced to struggle against hungry fish, including a fierce, large one. In a desperate bid to escape, Jerry tries every possible means—even waking the sleeping Spike…
