Animated advertisement, produced by the Wan Brothers as a trial film. The recorded date of the second half of 1925 is the production year determined through research. As the Wan Brothers had not yet mastered the key techniques of animation production at the time, and the production methods were relatively crude, it was not adopted by the Commercial Press. This failure marked the first attempt at Chinese animation, "providing primitive experience in producing animated films and a very rudimentary theoretical basis for animation" (as recounted by Wan Laiming and written by Wan Guohun in "Me and Sun Wukong").
