The story follows Princess Morbucks, who, in order to get the gift she desires—to become a Powerpuff Girl—infiltrates Santa Claus's home at the North Pole and alters the naughty and nice lists. This results in all the good children who should have received presents getting lumps of coal instead, while Princess Morbucks gains superpowers that rival those of the Powerpuff Girls. To save Christmas for the entire world, the Powerpuff Girls attempt to reconfirm the lists with Santa and engage in an intense battle with Princess Morbucks.
