I, Gunmo. A bird, yet not a bird; I understand human speech, yet I am not human. Someone called me the new wave of birds. A fake chicken, a fake Gunmo. I am an ugly little chick, and due to family circumstances, I embarked on a wandering journey. Then, I was picked up by the Tsukuda family and am currently living with them. My owner, Hempelta-kun, is a mischievous third-grader. And then there's his clever middle school sister, Tsukune-chan. Right now, I'm struggling hard to become a good pet for these two. Hempelta-kun's classmates include the bookworm Casio, the rough-talking Linda, and the bossy kid Saigo. Each of them has their own quirks—or even double quirks—so it seems pretty tough. By the way, I recently made a friend. His name is Déjà Vu. He's the pet of Ayumi-chan's family, who moved in next door, but he calls himself a city bird and is arrogant, with terrible taste and hobbies. Next time he calls me ugly, I'll challenge him to a showdown!!
