In the lush, pristine Australian jungle, Mickey (voiced by James MacDonald) is exploring with his loyal dog Pluto (voiced by Pinto Colvig). Mickey wields a boomerang called "Boomerang," while Pluto keeps his nose to the ground, carefully tracking the scent of prey. Suddenly, he freezes, entering a state of high alert. It turns out there is a huge bunch of bananas on a tree ahead. Mickey uses the boomerang to knock down a banana, but Pluto doesn't get to eat it. Instead, he becomes utterly bewildered by the boomerang's looping flight. A series of amusing and playful battles ensue between him and the boomerang, and before he knows it, he has become separated from his master.
