One day, Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) and his friends plan an orphan charity gala, inviting the city's orphans to the theater to watch a performance. Before the show begins, the little ones wreak havoc in the venue, turning it into a chaotic mess, yet they thoroughly enjoy themselves. Soon after, the performance starts. The first to take the stage is Donald Duck (voiced by Clarence Nash), who sings two songs in a row, but before long, he is met with a chorus of boos. Furious, Donald is eventually driven off the stage by the little orphans. Next up is a comedy skit performed by Goofy (voiced by Pinto Colvig) and others, whose hilarious act earns cheers and applause from the children. During the intermission, the indignant Donald Duck storms onto the stage again, only to be thoroughly teased. For the next act, Mickey plays the piano while Clara (voiced by Florence Gill) sings.
