On a bright and sunny day, a cheerful Minnie (voiced by Thelma Boardman) hums a tune as she takes a fragrant, tempting cake out of the oven. The aroma of the cake drifts through the air, catching the attention of Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney), who happens to be passing by. Mickey’s mouth waters, and he begs Minnie to share a piece with him, but the proud young lady refuses. So, Mickey promises to help Minnie clean the yard in exchange for a slice of cake. With the hostess’s permission, Mickey energetically begins his cleaning. Just then, an annoying troublemaker arrives—a wild and unruly little whirlwind. Spotting Mickey at work, the little whirlwind rushes over and stirs up plenty of chaos.
