A delightful summer day, Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney), Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner), Goofy (voiced by Pinto Colvig), Donald Duck (voiced by Clarence Nash), and Pluto plan a holiday trip to Hawaii for a vacation. On the beach, Mickey and Donald play the ukulele while Minnie performs a graceful and enchanting hula dance. The stubborn Goofy repeatedly challenges the ocean with his surfboard, but ends up making things worse and causing plenty of laughs. Pluto scurries around searching for small creatures on the sand, eventually getting himself into a frantic mess. Donald happily joins in the dancing too, only to accidentally burn his bottom without noticing.
