In the distant depths of the universe, the evil god split the earth into two polar opposite worlds: the Sun Kingdom and the Rain Kingdom. Whenever the rainy season arrives, the Pross people of the Sun Kingdom retreat into sealed castles to avoid the harm that rainwater inflicts on their bodies. Meanwhile, the Hydras people living in the Rain Kingdom rely on water for sustenance; during the annual dry season, they turn into stone statues. A Pross boy named Scan lives with his mother in the warm Sun Kingdom. After his mother passes away, Scan joins the Royal Guard. One day, he is dispatched to search for the Sun Stones, which the Sun Kingdom depends on for survival, and uncovers a shocking secret—the Sun Stones actually come from within the bodies of the Hydras people in the Rain Kingdom. To obtain the stones, they must travel to the Rain Kingdom during the dry season and kill the Hydras people who have turned into statues. During his expedition, Scan meets the beautiful Rain Kingdom princess, Crystal. The two quickly fall in love. However, the long-standing hatred between the two kingdoms, coupled with the fact that water and fire people cannot touch each other, plunges the lovers into deep agony. In the end, guided by their belief in justice and the power of love, the two finally overcome evil, merging the worlds of water and fire into one, ushering in an era of peace.
