The ancient demonic artifact, the Star Seal Compass, descends upon Liuyue Mountain in the Dragon Warrior Clan. Its master, the demon Tiankui, is about to revive, threatening to bring calamity upon both the human world and the Star Dragon realm. A mysterious baby dragon named Adi also inexplicately arrives in the human world and encounters the Dragon Warriors, Xiaoyi and Bainuo. Because Adi harbors the dark power of the Star Seal Compass, which is key to reviving Tiankui, he becomes the target of pursuit by Tiankui's minions, the Gray Bone Dragon and the Fox-Tail Battle Dragon. Unaware of the truth, the Dragon Warriors, aiming to prevent Tiankui's resurrection, take Adi to the revival site—the Dark Ancient City—only to fall into Tiankui's sinister trap. Not only does Tiankui absorb the dark power from Adi, becoming the powerful demon Tiankui, but he also casts Adi into the abyssal "Dark Abyss," condemning him to eternal suffering. However, against all odds, the timid and cowardly Adi finds his resolve within the "Dark Abyss," awakening the dormant power of Stardara within him. Transforming into Stardara, he breaks free from the "Dark Abyss" and once again engages in a life-and-death battle with Tiankui.
