The deer (CCCP, the former Soviet Union) runs through the forest. Animals such as spiders and woodpeckers (the many small Eastern European countries within the alliance) request one after another to ride on its antlers. The deer joyfully agrees, carrying them forward as they continue their journey. These animals turn its antlers into a cozy nest. 　　 However, the feast does not last forever. As they move forward, disagreements gradually arise between the deer and the many animals regarding the direction to take, though they do not escalate into irreconcilable conflicts. At this moment, the sound of a hunter's gunshot (hostile forces from allied nations) echoes from outside the forest. Faced with internal strife and external threats, the deer and the many animals on its antlers are met with an unavoidable disaster. After the calamity, everything is forever changed.
