This art film is a puppet animation. While watching TV with his younger sister, Song Wu, a child who loves to boast, sees the age-old story of Wu Song fighting the tiger being retold on screen. He dismissively brags, "What's so great about that? If I were Wu Song, I could kill the tiger too." As soon as the words leave his mouth, he indeed transforms from "Song Wu" into "Wu Song." At the tavern beneath Jingyang Ridge, "Wu Song" is warmly received by the waiter, but how could he possibly down several large bowls of the "Three Bowls and You Can't Cross the Ridge" wine? Fortunately, he is clever enough to bluff his way through. Upon reaching Jingyang Ridge, "Wu Song" falls fast asleep amidst the beautiful scenery, only to be terrified upon waking: standing before him is a huge tiger. Strangely, however, the tiger not only knows all about his background but also shows no intention of harming him. Instead, it starts playing games with him.
